Wonderful tour experience We had a wonderful tour arranged by Sri Lanka Tour Guides. Our guide and driver was knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We learned so much from him about the sites we visited and about Sri Lankan culture and history. While we were planning our visit we have lots of practical and logistical questions. Amazing experience Our Sri Lanka trip was truly unforgettable, all thanks to our amazing guide and driver, Hassa. From the moment we met him, he was incredibly friendly, warm, and caring — we genuinely felt like part of his family. He treated our kids with so much love and attention, just as if they were his own, which made the entire journey even more special for us.This company went above and beyond in every possible way. They did things that were definitely out of bounds for a typical tour service, always making sure we were comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. They made Sri Lanka feel like our second home.Hassa’s knowledge about the country, culture, history, and hidden gems was extensive and impressive. An unforgettable road trip I had the chance to travel to Sri Lanka with my grandmother and we called on Eranda for the organization, and had Kumara as a guide. These 2 people were absolutely great. Our guide knew his country at his fingertips, was extremely kind and caring for us. He drove very well and adapted the schedule as soon as necessary, which made our trip really pleasant and stress-free. Thanks to him, we were able to discover a lot of things, and he explained everything with remarkable patience and passion. Unforgettable journey It was an unforgettable trip through Sri Lanka with Sri Lanka Tour Guides! We had booked an 18-day tour with Eranda in advance, and everything was perfectly arranged. Our guide and driver, Dinesh, was fantastic. Trip to Sri Lanka organized by Eranda Our group of 13 were super satisfied with the services of Eranda. Our trip was absolutely personalized. For each step he sent us a list of several hotels, guest houses of different comfort levels, prices, ... so that we can choose the one that best suits us with total transparency on the price. He spent a lot of time answering all our questions, and the end result was beyond our expectations. He planned a lot of small stops in the middle of nowhere in dream places to enjoy beautiful home cooking. He also has an impressive knowledge of the country and its history. Reliable and professional organization We are 2 families of 6 in all who took a 2 week tour in July with Amila, our Sri Lanka tour guide/driver. There are several tour guides who work for Sri Lanka tour guides. This tour was planned with Eranda our contact several months in advance. Everything we asked for was integrated into the tour and Eranda made us additional proposals for activities that could interest us with 3 teenagers. Eranda also arranged, at our request, a train ride between Nuwara Eliya and Ella. Amila was waiting for us at Ella station with our luggage. An experience to live in Sri Lanka. What was a plus in the organization was the mixing of cultural and recreational tours on one day. Eranda sends you the price list of the activities a few days before departure in order to know the overall budget to be expected. Some activities are to be paid in cash, it is necessary to change money upon arrival or withdrawal in the ATMs. There is a way to pay by credit card in many places except safaris and some activities. There are many small amounts to pay in cash during visits (keeping shoes at temples, renting pareo if your shorts are too short, if you want a specialized guide of the place...) so it is necessary to plan small tickets of 100-200-500 rupees. Amila knows her country very well and you can ask her about customs, general history, agricultural production by region of the country (rice, bananas, tea, etc...). Several activities lead to a possibility of purchase such as tea factories or the spice garden but in general it is very interesting to do and purchases are not mandatory. For meals, the first days Amila took us to lunch in large buffet restaurants. This allowed us to taste the country’s cuisine in all its forms but when we tasted everything, we asked him to go to smaller, more authentic local restaurants. Amila advised us well and we had no medical problems.
